LEESBURG — In its 52 years of existence, the United Way of Lake & Sumter Counties has not only worked to raise substantial funds for charitable organizations, but it also chartered many in-house programs for education, health and income...According to Dr. Alan Holden, president and chief executive officer for the past two years, the organization is preparing to launch a new program called Mission United.
