The Atlantic Coast Conference is one of the nation’s premier Division 1 collegiate athletic conferences, and the Sunshine State’s two ACC teams – Florida State University (FSU) and the University of Miami (UM) - consistently compete at a national level in a variety of sports. Thanks to the leadership of the ACC and the United Way of North Carolina, Florida’s United Ways are partnering with the ACC to highlight its focus on ensuring that Conference athletes are students first.
