Angie B. Walasek is the Executive Director/CEO of United Way of Hernando County in Spring Hill, FL. After beginning her career with UWHC in 2010, she quickly found her calling and un-denying passion for her hometown. Angie was officially appointed the CEO leadership position in 2014 by the Board of Directors. Angie has made it her personal mission over the years to raise awareness and strengthen local partnerships. By incorporating the “LIVE UNITED” movement, she strives to increase corporate workplace relationships, investments, and lives helped through strategic program funding. Angie is passionate when helping others accomplish their goals and inspiring youth. Her life motto is “everything happens for a reason” and applies that comforting message in both work and home life. She currently resides on Hunters Lake with husband Erik, French Bulldog Olive, and welcomed their baby Charlotte in 2019. They enjoy weekends on the water and exploring the Nature Coast.
