United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades has named Hannah Pelle as interim president and CEO following the departure of Jeannine Joy.
Pelle is a dedicated, longtime member of the United Way team. She joined United Way in 2012 as director of allocations and community planning and most recently served as chief operating officer. With a heart for service, she has helped guide the organization’s growth and operational strength throughout her tenure. She was instrumental in the development of United Way’s Community Partnership Schools program. She also championed efforts to support the region’s recovery following Hurricane Ian, including developing a partnership that helped restore over 700 mattresses and furniture to individuals and families who lost their belongings or homes in the storm.
