Laurie George, Ph.D., President & Chief Executive Officer to the United Way of Palm Beach County, has more than 20 years of c-level experience. Over the past seven years as the CEO of United Way of Palm Beach County, Dr. George has led the organization to a new level of success by reaching an all-time high of over $17.1M in total fundraising.
Dr. George serves on several committees and boards including Career Source, Economic Council of Palm Beach County, International Women’s Forum, United Way of Florida, Chair of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for United Way of Florida, The Forum Club, Birth to 22: United for Brighter Futures, and is a graduate of Leadership Florida and Leadership Palm Beach County. She earned a BS in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a Ph.D., in Child Development and Family Relationships from the University of Texas, Austin.
